Whoah, look what I found!

The year is 1940, and I'm cruising off the east coast of England in my Type IIB. I spot a convoy and dive to periscope depth. Upon raising my periscope, I see this scary thing staring at me in the face.

Gulp. That was close!

Something like that happened to me once.

First person view of the Hood ramming my conning tower into Oblivion.
I actually managed to survive the ordeal.

I've had that too, off the east coast of Britain. Definitely a heart stopper. I may have imagined it but don't you get a scraping noise from the chain if you're close enough? That might be wishful thinking on my part though!

I run a fleet boat for the Us in the Pacific. I use TMO 2-5 and RSRD and have yet to see or been dumped by a mine. I have tried to find them LOL

The minefields stock, are a joke, with 1 mine per square kilometer if memory serves.

To change it, you go to the Jap_MineField.mis file in the SH4 \ Data \ Campaign folder.

Since it is a long file, use the Edit / Find option and loo for the word Density. Look at the number there, and you will see the low density of mines. Change that number to whatever you like. But do it while in port.

One thing to be watchful of, is there are entries for the antisub nets in there, so do watch for those.
