I have a spreadsheet with over 450 Silent Hunter files that I have, but there doesn't seem to be a good way to post it. I am in the middle of moving, so it is not a good time to try to find any of this stuff in my archive.

You have my complete attention.

I am willing to pay you for the cost(s) of purchasing an USB flash drive and mailing it to me to get those files.

I'd also be interested in any OTHER files you may have for other games of the classic 1995-2008 period where we saw a lot of game mods.

I'm the guy running the Wargame Scenario Depot project on the Internet Archive which has been previously linked in this thread.

EDIT: For example, I've been waiting for years to see if anyone has the old 688(I) mission pack that Bill Nichols did on CD -- Bill himself long ago lost the files.

I still keep some files from that era in CD or DVD. Specifically for Silent Hunter I have a folder with many missions from different websites (sorry, cant be more detailed).

Since the files are very small by today's standards, I compressed them in a single file:

Just to let you know, I downloaded your collection. I
Thank you for your time and effort. I appreciate it very much. Haven't spent a lot of time with SH1, but look forward to dusting off the game this weekend.

Thank you my dear JapLance. You've enabled me to raise the "Recovered" amount of scenarios for SH from the old Wargamer Scenario Depot from about 3 (23%) to 11 (84%).

I've uploaded your contribution to the Internet Archive into my SH Archive:

https://archive.org/details/wargamer...-silent-hunter

more specifically at this URL

https://archive.org/download/wargame...e_Missions.zip

Also; you said:

What files from that era? Do you have any other game mods or game scenarios?

I wish I had something to contribute Sheppard. But while I did have the SH: Commanders Edition back in the 90s, I never downloaded any mods or custom files (unfortunately). I do want to thank you for your preservation effort on archive, I have turned to your Wargamer Scenario Depot archive sites many times, especially for SSI stuff and you have done a fantastic job tracking down and making all those files available! Keep up the good work!

Are there any real important files missing that haven't been uploaded in this thread?

Thanks for the archiving efforts!

One question: How can I install the realism patch on Windows 11? The exe file seems to be for 16 bit windows. Is there a possibility for that? (Does it run under DOS?)

Edit: Okay, it's a DOS exe, it runs when I start it in DOS Box. But I don't see the font of the installer program. Can I use the font fix with the installer as well?

Edit 2: Okay, with DOSbox-X it works.
