Default Over 400k tons sunk

Date is in Early 1944.

73% realism, only manual torp and map updates are unchecked.

I find it stupid to no have map updates, I am sure back in the day they would have plotted everything!

In saying that my tonnage sunk is way too high!

1st Career patrol in over a decade.

So switch to manual. You will prefer it, I am sure.

This in itself does not mean less tonnage necessarily, since you can fire torpedoes accurately in manual mode. But as you learn it, your score will drop. You can also choose to fire more fish in each salvo, which will drop your tonnage scores as well. Shoot three or four in each attack, which is realistic -- many skippers did -- and will result in fewer attacks per patrol, and therefore less tonnage sunk.

Try playing with only map contacts and everything else turned up.

Thank you for the input!
