Now if they will just come out with a 1/72 Type IX U-boat model. I know it would be huge, but I'd give much for one of those...

Yes that one would be sure on my 'must to have list'
although i would like to see some u-boots from ww1 in 1/72 (1/144 maybe), u-35 and u-9 were succesfull back then.

Yes! A 1/72 (or 1/144) kit of the U-35 would be awesome. One of the UB III class (ancestor of the Type VII) would be very cool as well...

there is a person who build a UB-16, but it's rc.
i couldn't track is this is a serial production model, but i 've seen some images if it.
