Patriots Point is a Maritime Museum that hosts the USS Yorktown, USS Laffey, and the USS Clamagore, along with a CG Vessel, a Vietnam Fire Support Base, and a landmark that resembles a Boomer saluting the Cold War era submarines.
The Laffey cannot be moved out of naval history. She was hammered by Kamikazi after Kamikazi and she still fought.
Contact anyone you know that's in a position to help. If she's moved from Patriots Point, she may be forgotten.

Here is the wikipedia link to the Laffey:

I figure someone will pick up the Laffey. The Clamagore....well things don't look so good for her.

This valiant ships fight to survive was featured in one of the Dogfights episodes "Kamikaze"

Pretty incredible episode. The guy that developed the solo board game "B-29 Superfortress" is currently working on "Picket Duty" that focuses on what the US destroyers had to face during the battle of Okinawa.
