That was either GWX2.1 or 3.0 with enhanced damage effects enabled.

I'll try this, just test one image at first. If I get that right, I'll add the rest.
This is from my first GWX3 patrol (Jan '40, 2nd Flotilla, VIIB - U32): 1st ship sighting, turned out to be Norwegian tug with unmarked cargo, so left 'em alone:

Seemed to work ok, so here we go ...
@Tarjack -- how'd you get that awesome blue lighting?? WANT IT!! In patrol grid AN26, 1st sighting: ---------------------- Tracking, plotting .... attempting manual plot: ---------------------- Lost 'er for awhile, she reversed couse, but I re-aquired, closing in: ---------------------- Tryin' to use this thing, having GREAT difficulty: ----------------------- Hunting the hunter: ----------------------- Torps salvo away and ......... GOT 'ER!! ... only with one tho, forgot to set 2m depth on 2nd tube. Couldn't get a manual solution, so I had turned auto-update back on, had to sink 'er ... ----------------------- She's goin' down: ----------------------- Her final desperation. Actually hit me a couple times 'cause I neglected to check local depth ... only 11m, had to turn tail hard and fast: ------------------------ She's had it!! Highlighted my sub in the background: ------------------------ Grid patrol complete, headed to Scapa: ------------------------ Trouble incoming!!!: ------------------------ Think it saw me .... highlighted my sub, just a periscope wake, too shallow to crash dive. Sure enough, shortly after this image heard two large explosions ... but I had cleared datum already: ------------------------ Proceeding into Scapa channel submerged: ------------------------ Resurfaced an hour later and charged in at full speed. Slowed to submerge and go to bed. Will post more as patrol goes on. Hoping for luck in Scapa!!

Well, got to Scapa Channel just fine, started hunting. C & D class (if I remember right) spotted and targeted, tracking.
---------------------------------- Scope up too long, she's coming for me!! I keep doing that!! ---------------------------------- After about an hour of depth-charging, and several (4 or 5) missed shots, I let her get a bit too close for comfort. ---------------------------------- Well, she's setting her charges too deep, so a quick rear-tube snapshot and... ---------------------------------- Thought it was gonna miss right, but she turned into it. Now goin down. ---------------------------------- Some survivors, then passing through debris field ... ---------------------------------- Only 3 torps left, get the frock outta Scapa and head for home, but then a little trouble. Guess the destroyer got a message off. ----------------------------------- It dropped a couple charges, but missed WAY off. Fled submerged. On the way down the coast I found an ASW Trawler and tried to take her. Missed with two torps and called it quits. Only 1 rear torp left, so I SLOWLY evacuated the area. Trawler kept dropping charges, but didn't find me. Made it back to Willhelmshaven with minor damage and only about 2500 tons sunk. Better than nothing I guess. Next patrol looks to be grid AM 11 ... should be interesting.
