I like the idea that, somehow, the US is in control of the hostage situation.

"You want four squadrons of F-35's? Regular or VSTOL?"
"You want three divisions of our troops on your front lines? Sure, we can do that."
"You want the launch codes for our ICBMs? Keep an eye on your mail box."

If the US goes "all in" on any hostages/prisoners all it does is make them more valuable.

We don't get to decide who gets traded.

with the Georgia election done and Trump Org being convicted it seems things are turning for the better in the US, politically anyways. i think Trump is finally finished now as the momentum is shifting away from him thanks to his dinner guests and other poor decisions. i would like to see Trump himself convicted and put in jail but i doubt he'll do time, even if convicted.

i really dont understand why Americans travel to questionable countries such as Russia, NK, Iran, etc. they really only have themselves to blame for being incarcerated and held as a political prisoners.

the only other country i've visited is Canada and with good reason. Simply put, most foreign nations don't like us Americans so best to stay away from them.

The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals Order overturning Judge Aileen Cannon’s assertion of equitable jurisdiction became final as Donald Trump did not appeal the decision.

Someone must have realized they didn't buy the Supreme Court with appointments.
