"No CS sub torpedo control" in LSH3

Hello, I must say I am rather tired of trying to get this mod to work and I'm about ready to give it up. I have no idea why I am getting this error when trying to load single or campaign. I have 3050 RTX ti 32 GB ram a I-7 9th generation Windows 11 x64 I mean. It's on a clean install, I followed the instructions so I am stumped. Any and all help would highly apricated!

Might help to know some more info, other than that you are having problems getting to, to work... that is.



Such as...

Where your install of LSH3 is... to begin with.


Pray tell, that it is NOT installed in either of Window's terror-torial domains of \Program file localities. Window's... does NOT like you tampering with files & such, in its... terror-tory.


What all mod wise are you running, besides the basic ones that come along with LSH3...


Are you using either... a 4GB patch with said set up, or using Large Address Aware, to assign the LSH3 SH3.exe access to using 4 GB's of RAM.


All that, off the top of My head... would be very valuable info to know... to be able to even begin to sort out why you are having issues...

of course, it could be, that the mod just won't work with that mod mix. Which is a possibility, NOT to be ruled out... outright.



And.... seeing, as how this issue, is related, to LSH3... would be better asked, in the main thread, specifically for it. Just saying... that is, what it is there, for. That thread, can be found, here:

Hi the Thefroglord or is it just the case that you locked on to a ship and your torpedo wont fire out of the tube if so you have to open the tube my pressing Q.


Or error message cant initialise 3d engine

My install is in my Windows C Drive and V22 and V23 are in Documents

The mod for single player missions and patch HSIE-V16B1

I am using the 4gb patch

I can't even load a mission, practice, or anything

but LSH2022 fires up if so you have to go into the mod archive and place the single and multiplayer missions Folder into your Mods Folder of your single and multiplayer install then activate the single and multiplayer missions with JSGME moving then to the right hand window

OK is your SH3 Steam Version or dvd install

Steam version then if so that could be your problem SH3 Steam version is troublesome but theres another solution sending you a pm Sir

Hi again i would uninstall your steam version and the V22 V23 run stock SH3 to ensure all is ok with that install then make a backup of that SH3 install folder in documents so you have a backup.
All should be plain sailing now but anymore poblems add to this post and me or Mad Mardigan will get you squared away.

Please let us know how you got on hope you get LSH2022 on a even keel so to speak
