Actually, the law is a well-known quirk of local ordinances; anyone who has lived in Hollywood for an extended period of time and taken the time to get to know its quirky history has heard about the sheep herding law. So there's your useless fact(s): if it hadn't been for a spate of bad weather in Colorado, that is where the "Movie Capitol of the World" might have been, instead of Hollywood...
