Default Mission Editor

Anyone good with the Mission Editor? I downloaded a PDF Tutorial by kylania Which is a very good tutorial. Funny thing is, I made a mission using it and it worked flawlessly.
Next day I tried to do another, following the same tutorial and the Mission refused to show up in the game, even though I did exactly the same thing I did the first time. I uninstalled the game re installed tried again and again but still it refused to show up under "Historical missions" as it did the first time. I would be very grateful if someone who is knowledgeable about the mission editor help me out before I lose all of my hair. Don't have a lot to lose in that department.
If kylania is out there somewhere I would be much obliged to here from him.
I really don't want to give up on SH5 after a month of trying to get it to run stable with mods.
Thanks for any help

you probably just forgot to save it.

I have done this myself, worked hard getting everything working right with a mission and exiting without saving and all your hard work is gone.

unlike windows, the mission editor will close without warning you to save your changes

Hi Webster,
I did a "Save as Game Mission",like the tutorial says. Maybe I should have just used "save"?

to create the mission you use "save as game mission" but if you make any changes after that you need to use "save" for the changes to be saved.

look over the tutorials for sh3 & sh4 mission editor, they all work the same
