Yes - I already wasted about a half-hour earlier looking at "prototype 1930s German bombers"

Is it a Junkers product?

No, Aktungbby asked if it was twin-tailed and the answer was negative. So not a FW 189.

Germany did have some (very few) captured intact B-17s for evaluation, but this is not one.

Was it put into service or did it remain experimental?

I read it remained experimental, though there were several built.
I thought they were used in the war but it seems they were not.
The one in the picture has an unusual nose.
(which is why i picked it )

Big hint: There is a connection to the FW 189.
Hint 2: it was intended to be used for a similar task (purpose)

Oh YES
The predecessor of the asymmetrical BV 141.
The nose of this early prototype sure was misleading ..

Its handling was astonishingly good, it behaved well, easy to start and land, even easy to get out of a spin, but refused due to the weak engine. The proposed BMW engine used in the FW 190 was needed for the latter, so it was not available. Despite the strange looks it was or would have been a formidable recconnaissance plane, but the Focke Wulf 189 was then preferred for this role.
