Noob here, I have some questions. for Silent Hunter 4.

How should i attack a Convoy? and Avoid the Escorts? I just Hold steady at about 90 degrees relative to their path and wait until they are at front (without being caught) and fire torpedoes (Along with Calculations ofc) and get out of there. Is this right? or is this wrong? I should get out if i'm already caught by escorts right?
Regarding Convoys, How about applinked Task Forces? How do i deal with them? Same Tactic?
Are the lights coming from Destroyers (I bet in Morse Code) Legit? Like if we decipher it does it actually mean something?
Which Sub Class is the Best?
