Default Any way to do these things?

Love the game.

However, some things are annoying / missing that I know from other sub games.

Maybe I just haven't figured it out, so let me put some questions here:

1. Any way to shortcut to "Silent Running" (aka the famous "Schleichfahrt")?
Do I really have to tell my guys every time to turn of the gyro, turn off the pump, go to bed, stop loading torpedoes, etc.?
I mean, there is a big ALAAAARM button, where is the Silent Running button?

2. Set a course. Any way to simply set a course? Right clicking on the map doesn't set a course, but a waypoint, and due to the uboat turning, the course it ends up on is not the course of the waypoint direction. I just want to tell the boat: "Make my heading 235, DO IT!"

3. Is there a compass anywhere? Haven't found one.

4. Is there a way to keep the goddmn interface open without holding the ALT key? When I'm in the UZO or periscope, they automatically hide, and I don't know what the purpose of that is supposed to be. Is some kind of toggle ALT function possible?

5. Any way to get sailors unstuck, when they walk against a standing person and just do the Michael Jackson's moonwalk and just can't get to execute their order, while it is super important they do it RIGHT NOW (like, hey turn the ventilation on, cause, you know, we are all suffocating in here, but the sailor is inable to walk past that other guy).
I know they eventually manage to get pass, but any trick to fasten things up, or a workaround to the problem?

thanks, and good hunting Kaleuns

For silent running, change the light to blue to activate it.
There is also a handy mod that takes care of cutting off the noisy bits once Silent Running is activated.

Default Compass onboard

Its annoying that you can't set a course. There is no HUD compass. If you know your course you can go to external view and swing your mouse around to change heading to bearing. Very awkward way of changing course. It baffles me how this basic boat control function is overlooked.

Now there are compasses on the sub.

One is hidden on the bridge and very difficult to view
Another is in the conning tower in front of the sitting sailor
Of course there is one at the navigation table
Lastly there is on the table in the radio room

All are hard to view unless you use Free Cam 'N' key to move in closer.

They have the correct heading as far as I can tell except sometimes the radio room is wrong.

The one mod that is still current as of April 2023 is the "Attack Disc". It has a working compass feature. This is the same attack disc that we are used to using in other subsim games.
