Earlier on whilst fixing my car I heard the unmistakeable sound of a merlin engine,just it sounded thicker,ducked out of the shed to see mosquito fighter bomber flying around....very cool indeed..... Sorry had to share

Very cool man!

I've caught the CAF's planes flying in and out of the big airshow at Ellington a few times. Hear the noise and scan frantically for a bit, but you get rewarded with the sight of a B-17 flying over.

Call me a technophobe but I'm not sure how to put up pics,you're more than welcome to search said Mozzie on the web,it used to be an exhibit in canada prior to being shipped here,restored & then off to the US.

You need to use a full-time server. There are many free sites available. I use www.photobucket.com. Just register and follow the instructions.

Some further info -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...land_Mosquitos

Carefull you don't go running into the street (like we do) looking upwards, forgetting about groundlevel objects - fast cars.

Nice one, i live a short distance from RAF Cosford, ive seen the occasional spitfire flying over which is quite a thrill, and more than the occasional chinook helicopter, not so thrilling but damn loud!
