It's the same class as Mallard, the A4 Pacific However, I used 60027 'Merlin' as a tribute to my cat of the same name who died not long before I finished the picture. |

Just did this today on tablet. My attempt of the Oberon Class after flipping through my Submarines book when I got bored.
The image was too small for me to attempt drawing details (and I googled, but several results were too different or didn't have top views). So I sort of made it a foggy morning or something XD Take in mind I have not drawn submarines for.... a year and a half or so? I'm trying to dig up my old pics of the HMAS Rankin and my own submarine that I made up for my story (yes I write stories). I know some parts looks weird or out of place, I am trying to work on more stuff like this... |

Let's see what it's going to look like in SH3, with some textures. Soon.

I'm a 21 year old art studio major at UCSB who's looking to get an illustration degree in grad school at a CSU (or if I win the lottery, an actual art school a la CCA or Pasadena Art Center). Been working on this piece for a bit.
36x24 in canvas with oils. As you can imagine, the hard part wasn't the Strike Eagle. I'm going to have to re-take a photo of this in actual daylight, and it still needs a couple more hours put into it, but for the moment, I'm got a much needed break from it. A black and white charcoal piece on gray canson I did a few years back. Last edited by Agiel7; 09-12-11 at 09:49 PM. |

@Agiel7: I could see that Strike Eagle painting handing in the corridors of the Pentagon!

Just make a selection for the area you want to be in focus, invert the selection,
feather and blur. Or check this tutorial: http://www.tiltshiftphotography.net/.../#.UHGJT1HMm8c |
