He does give me warnings, but since he (and every single Cardinal) is from my own Kingdom, he just sticks with the warnings. And IF I get excommunicated, then I'll just..erm...."persuade" him to bring me back into his herd

I actually invaded the Papal States once as England after I got excommunicated when I attacked France

I actually posted this in another thread, but when the new pope got elected (Following the untimely death of the last one), he exclaimed that "The flames of eternal damnation" are too good for me

Lemme find that screenshot...

EDIT:

Not sure if this was because I killed the last Pope or because I didn't vote for the new guy

Well it happened.

When Norway was gone, all that was left around the baltic to be worried about was Poland. So I attacked the last provinces they had, Mr. Pope said "Get the F*CK OUT!" I said "No it's true! I DID smash Poland to scrap metal!" And he excommunicated me....

Anyway, I sent a diplomat to Rome.

-Did you expect us to be happy to see you!?
-Well........*brings up a huge amount of money on the table*....Yes, as a matter of fact...
-WELCOME FRIEND!

It's that easy, now his looneyness loves me.... :rotfl:

Some shots of a classic. Me wandering the mean streets of Raccoon City.

I know modern gamers look down on pre-rendered backgrounds, but I think the attention to detail is excellent.

I loved that style of game! I played that game a little but never beat it. Instead I played its cousin, Dino Crisis a lot. Both games are nearly identical with the style of gameplay. It's just raptors can move faster than zombies! I always thought the zombies in RE sounded like drunkin, rutting bucks. :rotfl: Dino Crisis was VERY suspenseful. That was the first game that really had me on the edge of my seat. I played Dino Crisis 2 but liked 1 better. I was SO hoping they would have carried on the story after DC 2, but instead they turned it into some space mutant dino crap. Up until now I had completely forgotten about DC 1 and 2. I may have to dust off the PS2 and load them up again.

Default End of Campaign #45 GHC Change of CiC Cerimony

End of Campaign #45 GHC Change of CiC Cerimony (WWIIOL - Battleground Europe)

The Axis CiC (commander in chief), Callsign: KMS, has retired at the end of Campaign #45. He led us to well deserved victory! The campaign ran 88 days, one of the longest maps in the history of WWIIOL. I attended the change in command cerimony and took some pics.

Forming of the Lines Below the Stand

KMS and other GHC (German High Command) inspect the troops before the cerimony begins.

AHC (Allied High Command) were invited to the cerimony as well. They entered our airspace at approximately 7km above the deck in a JU transport, and jumped. It took them a while to parachute to us at that height, lol, but they made a pretty impressive landing right on top of the platform where the GHC was! They exited the platform afterwards, crossing the lines to much cheering and saluting, and then head to the hanger...

We were ordered not to fire our weapons, in general, before the cerimony was over. But especially not to fire at our allied guests when they arrived, as they were under invitation. Of course, that was too much to ask. :rotfl:And had a rather embarassing conclusion for GHC. One or two fiesty Axis soldiers engaged and eliminated the poor Allies as they moved towards the hanger. Pretty stupid, actually. If you look at the platform screenshot with the tags on, you can see a game manager there... people were warned not to get out of line. Not sure what happened to the culprits, but GHC sent the Allies our apologies for the incident...

Bodies by Hanger in the distance, as an Officer looks over in disbelief... and a close up of two of the allied corpses:

The cerimony closes with with a load of "fireworks." Everyone lights up the area with frag and smoke grenades, lots of small arms fire and even the planes and armored vehicles on the airfield let loose their guns.

Former CiC KMS boards a transport plane and leaves the field with all of our salutes and cheering to see him off.

The End.
