Ships and tons not marked

Ships and tons not marked

Im playing LSH3 and i just finished my first patrol, i sank 5 ships. When i checked my patrol log it shows zero ships and zero tons sunk, when i check my save file it says zero ship sunk, but when i check my captains log it says i sank 5 ships
is my game bugged and not showing me what tons and ships ive sunk on the patrol log? Or do i need to do something for the ships ive sunk to mark on the log?
