A quick question how the heck do I know my Windows Firewall has been updated and general updates?

I don't think Windows Firewall has been update since 2010.

Like Sailor Steve, I do too. I'm on Win 7 and even use their Security Essentials.

I 'surf' safely and never have had a problem.

I only use the Windows Firewall as I have been using Avast free edition for years for my anti virus. Little surprised if true Windows Firewall has not been updated since 2010.

Using Bitdefender FW here mate along with my router inbuilt FW. Windows FW is off. I stopped using Avast when it started getting bloated, just for the record Bitdefender is going the same way, but I got a 3 year license
