I'd love to try this mod, but I'm using the last version of Magnum Opus.
Should I enable Stormy's sounds after MO, or before? Are both mods incompatible? I hope not...

Mixed some new sound samples for Torpedo Doors Open/Close effect.

New Sound Samples:
Torpedo Tube Opening.wav

Length: 15 seconds
Sample Rate: 48000 Hz, 16 bits, Mono
(Tube Floods, Tube Outter Door Opens, Hull Outter Doors Open, Torpedo Man says "Tube Ready to Fire")

File Size: 1,357 kb (No Compression)
Length: 14 seconds
Sample Rate: 48000 Hz, 16 bits, Mono
(Hull Outter Door Closes, Tube Outter Door Closes, Tube Purges)

Currently the game only uses the one "Torpedo tube opening.wav" file for both open and close effect.
I converted Sound Samples to OGG format then edited my data\Cfg\Commands.cfg file to have one sound sample for Opening effect and another for Closing effect.
I placed the new OGG files in the data\Sound\Speech\ChiefEngineer\Normal - Tension - Whisper folders.

The files will have to be renamed so the filenames do not contain space characters.

Default Need help with the sounds

Hello ,

first thanks to stormy for his amazing sound mod, i like the nav map babbeling and so on, great work

But it seems that i have a little problem with the mod, i delete
Capthelms Audio+SV Touch Ups and DBSM Music

Then installed the
Stormys DBSM SH5 v1.3 Basemod
Stormys DBSM SH5 v1.3 optional Nav Map babelling
Stormys DBSM SH5 v.1.3 Hotfix

All the other mods in my list are installed furthermore

Now i haven´t a sound for flouding the tube and the worst no sound by firing the torp

I tried with the All sound sh.sdl and without, no sound.

And btw, is it possible that the sounds causes ctds with unfavorable modcompilation, when you hit one or sink a ship

Can someone help please

What was Game Date and what type Torpedo did you fire when you got CTD.

I have noticed during my game play that if you sink non mission essential ship with a T-IX Electric Acoustic Homing Torpedo prior to 1942 it can some times cause a CTD.

Moin beast,

it was the holy 25th of december 1939, North Western Approaches, Queen Mary on the spot with ca. 10 attendants and firing a torpedo salvo 2 ones type T1 GTa with contact pistol.

Another issue, btw, the secondary mission for Nothwestern Approaches i get in the bunker was scapa, but scapa already finished 2 month before

Moin stormy,

don´t want to Spam your thread with my hole mod-soup

I use the NewUI by TDW 7.1.0, other mods i´ve enabled you can see in my list in my signature.
