Default Upcoming 1.1 Changes and South China Sea Progress

Version 1.1
In Progress

General
PersicopeDpethinFeet variable now applied to the auto dropping of masts
Fixed the <n> in event headers
Helo and aircraft now support 0 sonobuoys and 0 depth bombs
Helo torpedo hardpoints added
CIWS particle now specified in ship txt file: Anti-MissileGunParticle=ships/particles/tracers_burst
Tree density now specified by biome
New terrain shader and textures for better visuals and performance
Fixed an offset bug with Scenery object spawn locations

New vessels added:
usn_ssn_seawolf, usn_ssn_los_angeles_flt3, plan_ssbn_xia, plan_ssn_han, plan_ssk_song, plan_ss_ming, plan_ss_romeo, plan_ddg_luda, plan_ddg_luda3, plan_ddg_luhu, plan_ddg_sovremenny, plan_ff_chengdu, plan_ff_jianghu, plan_ff_jianghu3, plan_ffg_jiangwei, plan_lst_yukan, plan_lst_yuting, plan_aor_fuqing, plan_ap_qiongsha, plan_as_daijiang

New weapons added:
plan_yu-1, plan_yu-5, plan_yu-7, plan_cy-1, plan_fqf2500_mortar, plan_type81_mortar, plan_type87_mortar, plan_type_79a_shell

New aircraft added:
plan_z-9, plan_y-8x


Campaign
Fixed a bug where RESUPPLY_CONVOY_1 could erroneously be called
Fixed an icon display issue where a port invaded by a landing force did not update colour
Added South China Sea bathymetry data
Added South China Sea chart
New campaign "campaign003" created for South China Sea

South China Sea Progress
Work on the South China Sea campaign is coming along well. New vessels, including the playable Seawolf and Los Angeles Flight III (688i) classes, new aircraft and weapons as well as the setup for the campaign map are now completed.



Aside from the new vessels and aircraft of the PLAN (Peoples Liberation Army Navy), the terrain system has also had a complete overhaul to improve visuals and performance as well as adding support for larger cities and air bases.

Hey, you seem to be in the know..
Is the frame of the Seawolf at dock some new phase of game..?
Will I be able to zoom in on the tactical map...?
Do you think the Australian Government will allow me to build a submarine for my own personal use..?
When do you and your fellow cold war friends think this amazing looking content will be available..?
What do you think of having Hull popping as an in game feature, say like knuckles are....?
Do you think we should be able to deploy a 'Sail Watch' as such and have this fact represented and rendered in the graphics'....?
Sorry my questions are getting longer....

If this campaign has the Seawolf and 688i, shouldn't Burma be called Myanmar? I thought they changed the name in 1989.

Well, whether it's Burma or Myanmar, I'll be very happy when we get the South China Sea campaign! That's my old stompin' ground.

I just got into Cold Waters two days ago. My oldest daughter came to visit me and wanted to buy me a game. So I looked around and found Cold Waters. I have Atlantic Fleet and I like that, but I was surprised to see something this extensive from Killerfish. I'm loving it!

Anyway, I've been flying flight sims for the most part for a while, but Cold Waters inspired me. I reinstalled Silent Hunter 4 and Atlantic Fleet, and I'll be looking at the rest of my naval sims to see what else I want to get back into.

I missed my ships, LOL!
