Exclamation Silent Depth

Dear all,

just to let you know our game is still in development and even closer to release. Due to unknown reasons other unfinished games are still in the "real" games section why our was moved to indie games (which I'm fine with!) and then suddently was removed completely without any further notice.

Let me explain: your game looks great and I support you. I wish you the most success and I look forward to reviewing your game and trying it out.

I created a forum for your effort, not all unfinished games get a forum here. Your game had a "real" game forum, all for your game. There were posts in that forum that your team did not reply to for months. I have been told by your team that you did not want a forum here, so I disabled it. I don't understand what the problem is.

Some destroyer AI, finally!

On the following shots you see your submarine in the middle. The destroyer hunting you is at the bottom and then there is a freighter to the left which you can ignore for now.
You see a circle around the submarine which is only there for debugging purposes. In the first screen it is yellow which means the destroyer has lost your position:


I switched to flank ahead so the destroyer could detect me. The circle went red which you can see in the second screen:


Then I switched to Schleichfahrt (slow ahead) which reduces the noise level. The estimated submarine position for the destroyer is now not that "clear" anymore, dependent from the distance to the sub. You can see a slight deviation showed by the red (debug) circle:



When going below the thermal layer (yes this is in!) the chances of getting lost by the destroyer increase significant!
Surfaced things are much worse for the submarine of course!

A destroyer heads towards us. Way too late to dive. Even though it looks nice it's the last thing you want to see as a submariner!

Some more destroyer AI test. You can see the map view (time compression 4x!) of a destroyer targeting your submarine (and avoid collision with the freighter). I've set a test flag so the destroyer aborts the attack run when coming closer than 300 yards and returning to its previous guarding position (green circle):
