Default Help with emblems placemet

Hello everybody...

I would like to ask for some help with an issue with the emblems placement in the VIIC/4 conning tower of Onealex mod.

As you can see in the screenshot, the left emblem is partially covered by the radar housing and it looks really bad. I tinkered a little bit with the .DAT file with my limited knowledge and I discovered that the emblems on both sides are opposite faces of the the same object model. So, if I move it forward, both emblems are "floating" separated from the surface of the CT. I just had a reply from Onealex and he told me that the only way to fix this via editing the model. Of course it requires the necessary knowledge and skill to do it. I have no idea on this matter...

I would like to know if someone could check this and modify it so both emblems are moved more towards the front, so they can be closer one from the other, only the necessary distance so the emblem can be seen completely on both sides. Any help will be most welcome.
Thanks in advance for your replies!

No idea Jeff...

But anyway... looking for a solution to that....
I am guessing that the placement of the emblem was moved forward to have some room of the horse shoe at the sides of the conning tower.

After I checked the DAT file in the Stock SH3, things went from bad to worse... I can't even find the damn item (the entry where the emblem OBJ should be)

I can't be useful to you with the coordinates, but i can tell you how i mount them, ,ha,ha

In this case it is 7c3, for 7c4 i don't know if it will work
Well there is a little adjustment, but there is no complete happiness

For example

I see....
in this case it's for only 1 emblem that goes at the front, right?
The problem is when you want to switch skins... you would have to make 1 TGA of every skin with every emblem....
Well, anyway, as you said, hard to achieve complete happiness....

Thanks for your kind reply!

No, it can be seen from both sides, you just have to guess the place a bit,as in the first picture

Yup.... Just found it and checked..... The concept is fine, but the TGA is different, so it would be necessary to create another template.... I might be tempted to do that using your pics as guide...
Not an easy task...
would it be possible you send me the TGA with the emblem? Thanks a lot in advance.
At least i could have 1 emblem at the front that can be seen correctly...
