I have never converted ships for SH4. But I don't think there will be much difficulty.

I just putted the files in the SH4. And it seems to work. Although the crew doesin't appear and also there is no bow spray or ship wake any ideas why is that?

Which crew do you want to see? What have you done for this? Modified the .eqp file or are you using weapons without gunners?

i didn't modified anything I just downloaded the file and putted into JGSME SH4 and installed it. I am testing a possibility of adding new ships for my KSD II modpack. Crew on depth charge racks would be nice.

This will not work properly. You need to change the files manually in the same way as KSD-II.

I'm pretty sure I released the GWX tool to convert SH3 Units to SH4 Units program.


Try to keep up!
Here's a link to the program.

It is not perfect but will save you hours of work!
This program was created by ref of the Grey Wolves when we were working on the SH4 version of GWX.

If you use it? Credit ref and the Grey Wolves!
It does leave a tracker only I can spot. so don't try to by pass credits!

User Guide.

Run the program on a unit and then use the files in the Converted folder.
Place those in SH4.


Now Units with more then 1 texture can show up Black. That is what I ment by not perfect!
There is a fix for that in the SH4 Mods work shop.

Also. SH3 Units do NOT have AO mappings unless the modder of a Unit did them.
Those would need hand adjusted if they exist.

first of all many thanks for the beautifull ships you´ve converted for SHIII!
What a great addition to the game , excellent work you have done!


Just a courius question; is there a chance to have the U-Boats of WoW converted into SHIII, too?


I have no idea how much work it takes to get them into the game; I guess it´s not an easy task!
