Default Time for Periscope to Rise/Lower

Hi

Anyone know where to set how long it takes for the Periscopes of the fleetboat(s) to lower/rise?

I made a couple of soundbites with the real periscope rise and lower sound, but it only takes around 6.6 seconds, which takes longer in SH-4

the default i believe is 10 seconds but if you wish to change the value, the actual file name/location depends on which side you are attempting to change.

for the US side, data\library\ussubparts\sensorsub_us.sim. Inspect the Extensible parameters.

for the german side, each turm(conning tower) has its own set of periscope parameters. look in data\objects\GermanSubType_turm.SIM. Inspect the Extensible parameters.

i hope that helps.

In the Sound folder, the actual Up/Down wav file (periscope_UpDown.wav) is 9 seconds long, and appears to have been made of 3x files of 3 seconds each.

Prop beat me to it lol. I would say try to loop the file instead of lowering the scope up down time

Thanks mates.

Well i have two recordings in non looped, non edited format from a Fleetsup of periscope going up and down respectivly, and i want to use that and not edit the sound files. So correcting the time it takes for the scope seems to be the right way of doing that.
