Default New sextant or old sextant?

As the title says, seeing that there're 2 versions of Real Navigation, which one is recommended? The new or the old sextant one? At first glance the old sexant seems more useful given that you can see the true azimuth directly, but the new sextant does more calculations... does anything else change in the mod?

English is not my native language, but I think that you will understand from my video what is the difference between the two sextants and why it is worth using the new sextant.

The full story with the sextant replacement is in my thread:

In short, to answer your question, the old sextant is not suitable for astronomical navigation. Silent Hunter 5's Celestial Sphere accelerates and decelerates in various Time Compression modes, making the SH5 chronometer unusable. The new sextant compensates for the acceleration and deceleration of the celestial sphere and calculates the corrected time.

In addition, the new sextant does not show azimuth, and simulates horizon dip, refraction and parallax, and also allows the use of a real semidiameter of the sun and moon in calculations.
