Default Looking for "Under The Ice", sub sim/strategy from 1989!

I have been looking for a 1989 sub simulation / strategy game from Lyric Software called "Under The Ice", it was released for Atari ST and IBM. Programmed by John Almberg. I found this review and an advert for the game in an old Computer Gaming World mag, which I have included below. I would very much like to get hold of the IBM / PC edition of this, does anyone here have it?

I can hardly find anything on it online..

I had a Commodore VIC-20 and C-64! The only Atari model I had was the 2600! I look around for the game and tell what I find!

These should run in an emulator through the browser but doesn't seem to work. You might be able to download the file and run it with dosbox on your computer but I wasn't interested enough to try. Good luck

Thanks ChristopherTarana and Otto Harkaman
I have found the Atari ST version, but would like to find the IBM port primarily.

Unfortunately, none of those archive.org links is the right game. Those files refer to a 1987 shareware game from a different creator, not the 1989 IBM release by Lyric Software.

I found a copy of the shareware version also! It was set in WW2!

I don't remember if you said you had the atari rom

https://greenlog.fr/atari/under-the-ice/

link to rom doesn't work, thought I also found the manual but the link didn't work. Perhaps the developer plans to release an upgrade?

Exactly, I got my hopes up for a moment but sadly it was not the same.

Me too man I downloaded the whole CGW archive years ago and think I have read them all love it.

Yeah, I got the rom and I have tested the ST version, but the IBM port seems to be newer and perhaps improved a bit. I am certainly intrigued by the game.

I think I may have found the original programmer and did send him an email, we'll see if it is the right guy..
