Yes, HMT Mauretania has almost made.
In fact - this liner was made only for one task - meet her in last days of August 1939 and enjoy from elegance this classical british design.

1. Are you sure about the shade of grey ? It seems to me that this grey color is a bit too dark.

2. The underwater part of the hull (painted in red) would have a far better looking if it has a "weathering effect" : I mean not clean but with traces of oxidation (rust). But maybe it's too complicated to do.

Hello.
I have some photos made in same place at april 1940 - its look even more darker than on model. Seems paint was burn out during five-years sevice of ship.
So we have some sort of compromise on model.

On your picture, the light exposition is bad, probably there were some clouds above in the sky. It seems that the ship has not been painted in grey yet, you can still see the difference between the black hull and the white superstructures. In fact, it seems that the superstructures have been painted grey, but not the hull yet...

And there aren't any additional liferafts yet, which means that the ship has not been fitted for war purposes yet (troopship).

By the way, the ship had also some anti-aicraft guns platforms which I didn't see on your ship.
