[TEC] Possible to make this feature work on US side?

I barely played the U Boat side of SH 4 1.5 but I recall could call in air support and surface units as a bit of special ability player would get.

In late war, esp in the Indochina coast, USN patrol bombers like PB4Y Privateer and USAAF B-25's began some coordination with subs in area in hunting what few ships were and for lifeguard duty. Wondering if could be modded so the special ability to call in aircraft could be used, and perhaps to call in AI subs (instead of surface ships) as well for wolfpacks on US side?
