Default Please Help

In Silent Hunter 5

I was not able to accpet the missions but I solved it... However When I accept the mission from the map which is told by the General... It says mission request... I requested the mission.. According to mission I sunk more than 100000 tons of mercants...

However The mission doesnt accept it.. The Mission blank which should be full with white.. never changes... and I could not manage to finish any mission because of this...

Please Help..

What should I do in order to finish a mission... Whenever I return back to the base.. again the same mission writes MISSION REQUEST...

It this an another bug... Does anyone know how to overcome this problem...!!

Default to finish a mission

levonian,

The problem you are having with mission completion is well known. It is due to playing the game without permanent connection to the Ubisoft DRM server. Though it is possible to update it manually. Hope it will help.

i just encountered a merchant, who i torpedoed and i surface to attack her and she fires AA at me. she ired a little bitthen stopped. then my sub just self destructed i hear all these warnings about pressure hull damaged and a bunch of components damaged. and this merchant fired only AA. and i was at full health too.

any1 expierience this lately?

and also, im sure other people have noticed that ships sinking in shallow water tend to.......eventually sink BELOW the bottom. and out of the map


plus, my game sometimes crashes when i ask the XO about like things he wants to bring to my attention.

setting difficulty levels...

I'm quite newbie with SH5, but I already found something irritating:

When setting difficulty from options menu, and then starting a new campaign, those difficulty settings I chosed (custom) were forgotten,
and only those fixed (easy, medium...realistic) difficulty options will be available?!

Default Watch Crew Disappeared?

Greetings!

I was south of Ireland and just finished a nice job on a convoy and was time to resupply. Mapped out course and just north of Scotland got the message 'down to 50% oxygen'. Strange I thought but continued and then 'down to 10% oxygen'. I went up to the bridge and no watch crew at all. Clicked on Watch Officer and clicked on icon again to put crew on bridge. Nothing happened. I continued on for a while then the message '0% oxygen you must surface'. Now I will mention I was on the surface the whole time. I will start the game from the last save to see what happens but can anyone tell me is this an old reported bug or something new?

How do I stop my crew from firing the deck gun while submerged?

Worse still, some of the shots actually hit, they never do that on the surface

I had a similar problem that fixed itself after a restart. My men stayed in the gun and were actually hitting and SINKING ships well below 150 meters. A deadly Nazi weapon.

I noticed after playing a while about bugs but an annoying one is this : when you need most the flak gun operators you can' t have them. Sometimes you can press F6 in vane, no command and icon would appear. And sometimes they apear on the deck but they just sit there doing nothing even when the aircraft is coming directly towards the sub ! Does anyone know a way to fix this please ? Fact is that is worked in the beginning but after adding some mods, not too many, they stopped doing it.

I don't know about the flak gun crew not being available, or refusing to man the guns, but, in order to get them to shoot at aircraft, you need to sight the target with your binoculars and press the space bar. This is the same as for the deck gun.

Default Strange artefacts sometimes

Hi

has anyone seen similar artefacts?

I do not think it is a general problem with SH5 or my ATI-driver, because they show up only when I am inside the boat, but not in peri/OBS-view.

I suppose it is one of the mods or a compatibility problem.
