CA-68 Baltimore Class Cruiser. Changed into the CAG-1 Boston or CAG -2 Canberra? Changing Baltimore to Boston/Canberra?

The only USN cruiser kits from that era that I have ever seen are plastic, and probably not what you'd be interested in. I certainly have never seen a conversion kit.

If you want to talk strange ship conversions hard to beat the USS Mississippi. WWI (Yea I not II) vintage battleship converted to a Guided Missile testbed...

Okay. Took you for more of a high-end modeler. Personally, I use the cheaper plasic ones too, mostly because I suck. Still love doing them.

Tumpeter Baltimore Cruiser in 1/700 Could be converted. The Armored launch boxes and the CIWS are the only missing parts.

Well I'm going to try converting the CA-68/70 WWII Cruisers into the CAG-1/2 Boston/Canberra Cruisers. 1/700 scale
