Default Return of the USS Nautilus

I've not posted here in many a year, but I thought the members of this site would appreciate the following.

After $36 million and 11 months of preservation work, the USS Nautilus was officially back on public display at the Submarine Force Museum in Groton, Connecticut as of September 9, 2022.
I took these photos at the ceremony. Haven't seen so many admirals and politicians in one place in a long time around here.
Good to see the old girl back in port.

Admiral, governor, and US senator visible in this photo:

My Mom had this ability to innocently gut anyone with one sentence. I was wearing my "working whites" because I could get in the museum for free if I was in uniform.

"ET3SN, is this anything like the equipment you work on?" she says in the middle of a big tour group. "Ma, it IS the system I work on...".

You have a very cool hometown, BTW.

I'm from New England. I don't talk if I don't have much to say.
