If you want another story along the lines of Crimson Tide (but much better IMO), check out the book The Trident Deception by Rick Campbell. That should get the juices flowing well for Cold Waters

I put the book on my Amazon wishlist the other day, actually. Haha.
However, before I get a new one, I need to read RSR again. Good thing about bad memory is you forget the good stuff too - so you can re-live it once more.

I can only recommend the various novels by Michael DiMercurio and Joe Buff. Also good ones are Mark Joseph's To Kill The Potemkin and Typhoon.
