You know Shearwater, i wish they can recreate this sim, with todays tehcnology it could be an awesome sim, way better than Destroyer Command, this sim can stand in its own and i think it deserves justice.
What do you think about it?
Thanks for the help AGAIN.

Over at simhq.com the game's co lead designer Ed Fletcher has been trying to do just that. Even better... he has combined the code from TF1942 with the code from the latter 1942 The Pacific Air War to create code encompassing both surface and air ops.

Ed (gatorman82)`s last post was quite some time ago (12/08/11), he was appealing for help in the 3d graphics dept. I`m unsure of the project's current status but praying that it's not vaporware as this could, if completed, be the ultimate WWII naval experience.

WOW, both sims combine into one sim? are you serious? i mean can you imagine TF1942 AND 1942 THE PACIFIC AIRWAR together into one sim?
you know i have been dreaming for something like this to happend with todays tech, let me tell you there would be no match for a sim like that, being able to play airplanes, destroyers and subs, man, what else can you ask for. Ill be happy if they can make a remake of 1942 THE PACIFIC AIRWAR GAME, that sim alone is AWESOME, but then again dreaming doesnt cost anything, lets see what happends in the near future.
LETS PRAY FOR THE BEST.
