2 generations of a franchise, Homeworld 1 and Homeworld 2.





But unlike many games that render their ancestor obsolete, Homeworld 1 and Homeworld 2 play differently, have different ships and the tactics being used are not the same and so allow for a different gameplay.

That's why i always play skimirsh with both with great pleasures without feeling the first one as "too old", in fact it is always as great as the second game.

My favorites RTS. I wish if the Homeworld 3 really happen one day, it will walk in the path of those legends.

Homeworld, in my opinion, was the best real-time strategy game ever made.

as I wasnt really into Sci-fi RTS games (apart from Blizzard's Starcraft)
I must say that I enjoyed HomeWorld when it was out a lot.

My verdict is that it's one of the best online WW2 or any other war games I've played. I mean, you cant go wrong with 28,000+ square km sized map, naval, air & land forces, 24/7 war.

If you have extra cash to put on to the monthly fee, go for it!
