Default Author Robb White

Kind of strange but for some reason I've had an urge to re-read some of his great books that I first encountered in my youth. Sadly, it appears none of them are in print. Well, there is one called "The Lions Paw" which I've never read but will, once I track down a copy. I'm just curious how many here read any of his books. They made movies of some of them such as "Up Periscope" and "Deathwatch" although the latter ones title was changed to "Savages". This was an excellent movie starring Andy Griffith as the villain. Must admit, it kind of shocked me seeing him in such a role especially as he seemed to excel at it. I wish they would release it on DVD. Here's a link that might help to jog some memories:

I didn't realize this but he was also a writer for some TV series episodes including "Men of Annapolis"(1958) and "The Silent Service"(1957). I never heard of either but they both seem to have good ratings. "The Silent Service " looks particularly interesting and here's a website to vote for getting it released on DVD:
