Whereabouts? I might drive up to Chicago later this year if Reece & Co. fly in from Ozland.

Northwestern Steel And Wire
(Sterling, IL)

and if Reece and co. DO come in relatively soon, be sure to let me know, always up for meeting fellow forum members!

Micro Subsim meet, with an Illinoisan who barely knows how to get to Chicago

Supposed to be a good airshow in Rockford this summer, and I'm buddies with the guy who runs Whiteside Co. Bittorf Field, hopefully gonna be volunteering for the fly-in/airshow this year in July.

I can hook you guys up!

Wait wut? Reece is coming to the US? I'd fly to chicago to see Reece. I do have a free plane ticket.

I haven't seen the U-505 since 96(?), when it was outside still.

I went there with a good friend of mine our junior year of highschool, I think.

the displays are incredible, and I really enjoyed the periscope simulators and the diving simulator (The lady running the set didn't know she was dealing with subsimmers who knew things about things like that. she called us "Sailors")

He mentioned something about it to me a couple of months ago. You might want to ask him some time.

@Sledge - I haven't been to an air show in years. Might have to make a trip out there this summer just for the fun of it.

airshows at Rockford are always great, the last time I went was 2010 and we were treated to the thunderbirds, an A-10 warthog demonstration, a harrier demonstration, and a heritage flight featuring the F-4 phantom. not to mention the B-52 parked on the tarmac and the Boeing Dreamliner. it was impressive to say the least and I think it was 15 bucks a person.

EDIT: come to think of it there was an F/A-18 demo too. lots of stunt flying, barnstorming ....

Welcome aboard, RundownJet

But, your jokes are terrible - both here and in the joke thread. That said, Jim and BossMark will be repeating them both in a few weeks.

Don't let my comments stop you posting more though.

Welcome aboard
And you say I have bad jokes! I admit my one-liners are for cheap Humor and a funny jab. And thanks for the welcome..Eh?
And here's another joke!..And Oh yes there will be More..

Two women go out one weekend without their husbands. As they came back, just before dawn, both of them drunk, they felt the urge to pee. They noticed that the only place to stop was a cemetery. Scared and drunk, they stopped and decided to go there anyway.

The first one did not have anything to blot herself with, so she took her panties off, used them and discarded them. The second, not finding anything either, thought "I'm not getting rid of my panties..." so she used the ribbon of a nearby flower wreath.

The morning after, the two husbands were talking to each other on the phone, and one says to the other: "We have to be on the look-out; it seems that these two were up to no good last night, my wife came home without her panties..." The other one responded: "You're lucky, mine came home with a card stuck on her butt that read, "We will never forget you."

And your right, they'll say the same joke in a month! Jim and bossmark might be running out of material for the horrid jokes they make!
