One of the worst things, again!
A few years ago I got a 23" monitor, much nicer after using 17s and 19s.
Six months later, I got a thunderfly (also called thrips, thunderbugs, storm flies, thunderblights, storm bugs, corn flies and corn lice) inside the screen. You know the little blighters - usually cover you when you it's been hot and muggy and feels like a good storm could sort it out. It wasn't too bad, about 4" in from the left and 3" from the bottom. Made reading some text difficult - I sometimes think it's a comma or a full stop. And try looking down for the RAF aircraft over the channel in IL-2 CoD - there's one, oh no it's that bug. There's one, oh no it's that bug. Well this past week it's been very warm (for here) and muggy again, and wearing a white tee hasn't been the smartest move. But I've got another one in, dead like his colleague in annoyance. A little bit lower, but quite central. It's like Mother Nature's very own dead pixels. Shame as I normally like her. So seeing as I'm now working full time I may be able to afford a new monitor sometime in the next few months. Any recommendations of what to get or what to avoid? (Apart from cling film around the monitor to keep 'em out.)

I've had one of these for the last four years now, and haven't had a single problem with it.

I recently found a bug in our television, alive and all, just crawling across the display. Not very pleasant, but at least it was small enough that you wouldn't notice it at normal viewing distance.
