Although I've never helped you directly, I have been helped many times by the members on this excellent site and I would like to mirror your sentiments. I remember being given SH3 by a friend and firing it up for the first time and being blown away by the immersion and nerve jangling moments, and that was just stock...

I started looking on the net and Subsim was the first place that popped up. I think I joined immediately and started reading well into the small hours. Next came a few mods and then the big jump to GWX3. Just reading the manual was riveting and over time I've learnt things about the war I never had a clue about and relived some of them with unparalelled realism whilst fighting for survival beneath the waves.

I've learnt how to merge mods and add more and more up to a whopping 44 active mods on my install. Many a late night has been spent here reading and writing posts that have given me crucial guidance in getting the most out of my sim.

There are very few communities that have such passion, acceptance, knowledge and all round helpfulness that defines Subsim and it's users. There never seems to be less than 40 people in the SH3 forum alone and that's a great testament to the site. Even Jimbuna's 'Be more aggressive' fails to get old.....

Thankyou subsim.

It only took one T1 eel to convince that boat not to float.
