So how to mod sounds?

I recently got that game and I am trying to replace some of the default SFX with the ones from my old SH3 installation. (Especially the sonar ping we are all used to).


I found a few "modding tutorials" which made me download the whole dev suite of unity for the game, and some tool here which enables opening the resource files.


But how to go from there? There is no sound-specific tutorials anywhere....
