Default Problem with Internet Explorer

I noticed a problem with Silent Hunter IV. My game tends to crash when Internet Explorer is on or enabled. I have Real Fleet Boat installed along the RSRDC plugin for Real Fleet Boat Mod in Silent Hunter IV. I don't know why this is and it is a weird bug I find annoying. Is there a way to fix this? It doesn't crash when Mozilla Firefox is on. I don't know what it does this.
It's so frustrating. Is it an issue with system resources or what?

It doesn't work, it still does it. Any solutions to this problem? I want to be able to run my browser while going on a voyage. It happens. I get an error report from Silent Hunter IV when running Internet Explorer 8.

I leave it running for a few days to replicate a voyage. What do you guys do? Does anyone here use time compression? Never mind. I turn on Internet Explorer and days worth of work crashes. I can't fix it.

Will going to bed and doing other things during the day and shutting off the monitor and going upstairs to bed ruin my monitor? I go to sleep. I notice other problems in the game, too. For example, I used to be able on the radar to select "sweep" it would sweep the sea like a broom. Now, when I turn the radar back on, it goes back to "focus" again to focus on a particular area of the radar screen. Is there a way to fix? I am hardcore, aren't I?

I use IE 8 on a Vista 64 OS and do not have any issues as discribed here. I do not like FF. But hey, that is just me.

Do you run it and Silent Hunter IV at the same time?

I'd feel like someone cut off my third leg if I was stuck with Internet Exploder only! Someday some of the great extensions I use will be available for IE (Xmarks is one already), but I'm convinced that Microsloth will always be too little, too late, not secure.

One day I'll do a guided tour of my Firefox installation. IE users will be very humbled. I even automatically run IE inside Firefox when I navigate to a website that attempts to lock Firefox out. Microsloth websites are famous for that. No problem. See what happens if you try to run Firefox from within IE!

That would be like Linux. I can read and write NTFS partitions all day long, load up Excel and Word files (in fact, all Microsoft formats) and rewrite them back where they came from from free Linux and all free applications. However, Windows refuses to even look at ext3 partitions and Microsoft applications don't understand open document formats at all! Duh! There's a pattern here.

Question, why would you have IE open when you have Firefox? Personally the only thing i use IE for is going to Micro$oft's website only. But that's just me.

I gotta agree... I only use IE for my work email - and Firefox for everything else! IE has way too many problems and vulnerabilities to list...
