Default Trying to replace a TGA file

I use RevisedInterface_v1 mod(love it), but i want to change this(mode one) :

into this(made with the default one and psp 7) :

When i start a mission after the loading screen i got a janus.err :
"Tue Jan 29 11:46:00 2002
Error -1 [imageType != 2 && imageType != 3]
DirectX code: "Unrecognized error: 0xffffffff"
\Projects\Ultimation\Janus2\Windows\Sources\BD3DIm g.cpp

Are you using also a TGA file with 24bit colour depth??

Sometimes SH2 files are a bit weird....a good way to be sure you really give the game what it looks for is to copy & paste your image in the old one, then save. PSP will tell you it can't be saved as a dual layer image, but that's no problem. Best way to be sure is to check that both images old and new have the same SIZE as that guarantees 99% it will work.
