Default Hasegawa Hawker Typhoon 1/48

So I've now really started to work on me Scale model of the Hawker Typhoon made by Hasegawa Models.

having worked on a 1/32 model...I find some parts in the 1/48 microscopic

anyhow time for some pictures:

That Rudel Stuka turned out nicely indeed.

Default The Fuselage

just done with the cockpit and pasted the bugger into the fuselage....
one of those jobs you have to make the pieces click together nicely in one time....pfew and lucky it went alright



Now of to buy a hand-drill (during this week) for the next update (the wings)

Default 17/05 The Wings

Finally got around to get working on the model again, with my new purchased Hand drill I could get working on the wings.

getting started:



Drilling done, Primed it and assembled all the parts to put it on the fuselage.



and its now attached to the rest of the aircraft



Just a shot with the Stuka in the background.

I've now attached the tail wings on the typhoon and did some painting inside the landing gear box.

The Tail Wings:


the landing gear box, painted silver but is nearly not visible due the bad lighting:

no...I'm on Summer halt with modeling, the heat is unbearable (sweaty hands, paint that dries on the brush before I'm able to put it on the model.)

will continue in the autumn as soon the temperature drops down.

Wow, who makes a 1/32 Ju-87G kit? Looks great!

Nice work on the Typhoon so far. That'll be impressive in 1/32.

As for me, I'm just gearing up with modeling. Central air is required, though.

Thanks, well its not that dificult, only need to figure out to make nice curves with handbrushes. German camo is way easier like seen on the Stuka, just mask lines off with some masking tape.
