In the light of these things and the past months, I have started to read again "1984", which I last time red at school. Its really scary that it does not read and feel like a dystopic scifi scenario, but almost like a description of our contemporary present. Back in 1984, the real year, we were concerned of a state using cameras and microphones against us, now most of us volunatrily carry them around with us and submit to them willingly, but the danger of language and mind control, the danger of manipulating the view on the past, was not that much focussed on - today that is what all this destruction of freedom and democracy is about, is basing on.

Every bit of trust into state structures and state authorties mis completely unjustified. The state is our most vicous enemy, not our well-meaning patron. At least this bit I say since many years.

Rome is on fire. It's ablaze, every roof, no house is spared. The buckets have holes and the water pools already dried out long time ago. Everybody who still can: run. But I cannot tell you where.
