Default ST Periskop Radar

Tell me, what was the radar located on the periscope? From historical literature, I understand that the built-in radar in the periscope could give a directional impulse and take it to measure the distance. Could he give information on a round robin with a display?

It was in the top of the periscope head, which if you look at the difference between the observation periscope and the Radar Periscope in the SubSensors.dat file, it is actually not a bad representation of it. However, it never worked in Stock, and early attempts to use it resulted in a "spinning" view through the periscope, as it rotated in place of the SJ radar antenna, which will not show at the same time at the periscope radar. Several mods have attempted to "fix" the ST, but so far as we could tell on the FotRSU team, the only way to guarantee that it works is to have it start with a boat. It apparently will not "upgrade" properly from the regular Observation periscope with things set the way they are currently.

The display went to the PPI screen, the same as the SJ. The SJ still had the long range, but the radar periscope only went out to 4-6000 yards, which was enough, after getting into position and then allowed for final adjustments and attack.
