Default The Galley in Type II boats

Wow, was the stove (or I guess galley) really directly across from the capt's bunk as depicted in the game? Did they have a cook? Did the cook just stand in front of the capt's bunk all day? I was just curious!

The galleys are the most exiting part for me in those old submarines, too.
If I consider that the one of a Type VII looks not even half as big as my kitchen at home (which is small) and then consider that they had to cook for around 50 people in that - this is just fascinating and shows the bad living conditions on such a boat like nothing else.

Can't answer your question though but I would also like to know.
