Default Windows 10 Start Menu

I haven't seen this before and wondering what setting I have changed.

When I open my Start menu I get my list of most used apps.

The text is light grey and easily readable.

I click on all apps and the list appears and again the text is grey and readable.

Then as I scroll down the list the text goes from light grey to dark grey and it affects recent apps too. Anyone else have this happen and how to solve it?

Have not had it yet, but sounds like a cool effect

Have you switched on Aero Peek?

I got so used to Classic Shell with 8.1 that I kept it. It's the only Start Menu I use.

I don't have Aero turned on. I've just noticed it and I can't for the life of me figure it out.

What is the classic shell do I have to down load that?

Classic Shell is a program that can make any newer Windows version look and act like XP, or pretty much any other older version. I use it mainly for the simple Start Menu, but it can do much more.

Yes, you have to download and install it, but the process is very simple and it comes with full instructions.

Many thanks for the link, Steve; I know of a couple of people who might really like this app, so I thank you on their behalf, also...
