Thanks a lot to your nice comments mates.
A word about my own movie to repeat that I have not make it to this contest just for me and before to know this contest exist. It's only by hazard if I'm in the list and it's without any pretention, just toparticipate.

But I promess, next year I'll be back with a real submarine movie.

Last day to get your vote in. Nice to see some of the discussions on the videos.

I'm hoping to announce all the winners this time tomorrow so keep an eye out for the opening of the envelopes. Mind you the peoples choice is looking a little one sided so far.

Thanks to everyone involved and in particular those talented movie makers!

Congratulations and well done to all. Iceman and Fincuan will receive a gift for entering. Both good entries but there were just others better this time around. Keep working on an entry for next year. You never know...

Mr. Fleck your entry Fate was superb and a well deserved winner of the Capt's cap. It had drama and suspense as well as great imagery and camera work. Dolphin kind of won the comedy award by default as there were no other comedies entered but was still a good short which I got a laugh out of.

Torpo, I really likes the way this was put together and it had a great feel to it from the opening to the end. Great camera work, use of lighting and sound. All round great effort!

Chisum, not strictly submaine but I really like the editing job you did splicing tegether the stills and the game footage with the text and sound. Another solid effort.

2ndBestKiller, I really like the use of the Das Boot sound track in this effort. Great work!

Winners please make your acceptance speeches below. That just about wraps up the festival for this year. Post your interest in participating next year in any form, here so I can get an idea if this is worth doing again.

To receive your prizes please PM me with your details for delivery.

Dear TarJak, dear community,

first I would like to say thank you for setting up a movie festival! I think this is a great idea and I hope you will continue to do so the next year.

I hope that even more people will take part next time. The more entries the more fun it is for the audience and also for us movie makers the pool of inspiration and ideas is bigger.

A big thank you to all the people who posted comments and voted. At least for me feedback is very important. Please continue to do so the next time.

Also you are distributing some very nice prizes among the winners. Actually I'm really surprized to win that many awards...phew!

But to answer your question: Yes, I would like to participate next year too, time permitting.

Ok, here comes the part where I should thank my cat, the guy who brought me the pizza, my cleaning personnel, my neighbor, my wife (yes in this order ), but I think I'll skip this part .

Cheers to all!

Kind regards,
Mr. Fleck

Well, I don´t know to say about it. I'm honored to be a participant, and happiness fills me. Thank you.

Many congratulations to everyone, and especially to Mr. Fleck, who has been a deserved winner.

I lack words to expressly what I feel at this time. Sorry, my knowledge of English are not the best.

Thank you, Very Much to all!

I am very happy!
I could not hope to win something.
It's a real pleasure. When I saw my film appear in the list of winners I shout for joy. It's heard to Cape Horn !

I thank the jury for this award, which gives me the greatest pleasure, because editing is for me the most beautiful and most important awards.

I also congratulate the other winners and especially Mr. Fleck who gave us a real caviar for which I have voted myself.

All my thanks to the perfect organization of TarJak and I hope that we will meet again next year for another competition.

Thank you all.

Thank you! Yes you are right music and sound do add a lot to the ambience. Btw it was not only one piece of music but approximately 15 fragments. Some play only for a few seconds. Also Im glad all the pieces fit well together since they are from 3 different sound tracks: 'Below', 'K-19' and 'Master and Commander'. Although I used only one from 'K-19 (Last Scene) and 'Master and Commander' (Under water scene where depth charges are falling down).

Cheers!
Mr. Fleck
