Unless they can shoot 'shells' and blow stuff up they hold about the same attraction as RC cars do for me.

Left, Right, Foward, Backwards thats about it. Although I have witnessed some RC car racing that was pretty cool.

But give me RC aircraft any day

Just look at this, wouldnt that be awesome to own one and battle with friends?:

Great way of keeping the wifey from the hobbyroom..

I saw an Australian site that has big rc scale models of just about any second world war tank, with engine sound, smoke from the excaust and a working gun!

The tanks have forward, backward and rotating movement and the gun is also completely controlable, heck while i'm writing i wanna looka again anyway so here's the link:

http://monstertanks.com.au/

There's also the cheaper ones for around $100 that look pretty cool and do the same things, but they are made from plastic.I saw a cool one on a German site,it was a 1/4 scale model of a KingTiger...for the same price as a nice second hand car! This scene is pretty big i guess.

And yes I WANT!!

There was a guy at the airshow here last year that had 1/4 scale RC Panzers that squirted water...that was pretty fun.

Default My own rc tank

I'm thinking of buying an M4 Sherman rc tank and then customizing it. I found several resources online but I wanted to ask you guys if any owns own. I feel its a bit expensive, but I'd like to know your thoughts. Thanks a lot!
