radar Question about the game

I am unsure if I should buy this game. I heard that this terrible in terms of technical related stuff. Bugs, glitches, etc. This really puts me away from buying this game for the time being. Is this true, and can you patch and fix most of these bugs if its true?

What KM says / asks... SH3 was not a peach when released, SH4 was worse, and SH5 a bit worse than that. However, updates and mods have made all three games playable. Unfortunately, Ubisoft has made SH5 a bit more difficult to deal with lately, but it still playable, especially with The Wolves of Steel mod added to it. If you have a disk version of the game, you can do Sober's mod, but it does not like especially the Steam version of the game.

SH5 with TWoS is totally playable and stable, specially if you buy the DVD version or the Ubi download. I prefer do not have Steam versions of the SH series.

Best regards.

I might try to buy the non-steam version, if I manage to find any. Though, im not sure how to deal with the fact that SH5 was lately removed from the Ubisoft network (I think it's called like that). People say that because of this you can't start SH5 anymore.

ok. IMO, SH5 is not as much fun as either SH3 or SH4, for a variety of reasons.
i have a DVD version of SH5 and every few years i make an attempt to play it for an hour or two but it just disappoints me. so i return to SH4, which is my favorite, at the moment.

i would recommend playing SH3 with the GWX mod-set and SH4 with TMO (either flavor), FOTRSU, RFB, Dark Waters, et.al. before i would play SH5 again.
