Still not sure if your being funny or not....

Either way... it's all good...

But the ship we're on, we're facing aft... the ships are both heading int eh same direction.... No Nelson's in the pic at all

OOOOOOhhhhhhhh!

Now I getcha! So yes the ship behind DOES have to steer clear as it is INDEED overtaking boat..

I thought the one the picture is taken from was a pic of the bow!!

September 28 1939
Ramming attempt by a coastal freighter at grid AN11. She missed but exploded some 20m aft my stern causing extensive damages and flooding in the aft torpedo room and electric engines.

OUCH! I hate when that happens. I once got too close to a freighter while shelling it, and it exploded, killing me and the entire bridge crew, including one of FdU's top instructors. You see, this was during gunnery training at the Academy.

September 26, 1939. U-8 sets out from Kiel on her first war patrol.

The Kiel Locks

Brunsbuttel, September 27, 0230 hours

Open sea, on our way to AN47 we passed through a brief squall

Now, can someone tell me what mod I installed that did this?

I'm not complaining. I think the the Kiel pens under construction is an awesome sight. I've just never seen it before, and I'm wondering what I did right.

Hi Sailor Steve,

you are playing WAC 4.1. If it is only WAC 4.1, it will work fine (don't know which additional MODs you have installed).

Just two seconds - and this ship will go to the deep fishes.

Only a detroyed destroyer is a good destroyer :

Got that boat some time later:

And one of the best ports in SH3 - Kaseburg near Swinwemünde:

Looking back to Swinemünde:

Greetings

Just one pic - leaving Wilhelmshaven and entering one of the locks.

Greetings

No, I'm not. I tried WAC briefly some time ago, and my computer couldn't handle it. I know this because I don't have those beautiful bridges over the Kiel Canal. I'm currently back to GWX with a new install, and the following mods.

So you can see why I'm confused.

Well..the only mod can be the Aces Superpens...Other?

I use the Wilhelmshaven V6, and I have that stuff...

Best regards.

That was my thinking, but the readme says Aces' Superpens only affects St. Nazaire. If it does also change Kiel, great. Whatever it is, I'm just glad to see it.

Do you have some scenery mod in SH3 Commander?

Regards.

No. I have several things in Commander, but no scenery mods. I also have many mods that I install directly, but none has ever done that before.

October 2, 1939. U-8 watches the sun set.

At 0304, after wasting two torpedoes on a passenger/cargo ship (1 dud, 1 miss) we finally score a hit.

Luckily one was all it took. The ship settles by the stern and sinks seventeed minutes later, leaving us with two torpedoes.

U-8 sails off into the night.
